Poverty is not evenly spread across the year. Ramadan brings the cost of feeding a family after a day of fasting. Zil Hajj brings the shame of being the only house on the street without meat. December brings children sleeping without blankets in Balochistan. May brings heatwaves that kill labourers and the elderly. Eshaat Foundation runs a dedicated programme for each of these moments, delivered by our own teams in Karachi, interior Sindh and Balochistan.

The whole Zabiha process runs online, and the meat is distributed in areas chosen for need – it goes immediately to extremely poor families rather than into a warehouse.
We are not parachuting in for Ramadan. We run schools, ration drives and orphan sponsorship in these same communities all year, so we know which households to reach first and we can move on day one of the season.
Ramadan and Qurbani attract donors. Heatwaves and Balochistan winters do not, and those are the ones that actually kill people. We fund all four.
Zabiha, iftar and Eid gifts carry religious weight, but the design is practical: nutrition, warmth, hydration and dignity at the exact moment a household cannot provide them.

Qurbani and Zabiha are specific acts of worship with fixed timing – give early so the sacrifice is arranged properly. Ramadan rations, winter kits and heatwave relief are general Sadaqah and can be given at any point in the season.
Prices for flour, blankets and livestock rise sharply as demand peaks. Donating early means we buy at better prices, and your money buys measurably more.
If you want your donation to be the one that matters most, fund the winter drive or the heatwave response. They save lives and they are chronically underfunded compared to Ramadan.
Ramadan rations and winter relief to Zakat-eligible households qualify as Zakat. Qurbani and Zabiha are separate acts and should be given as such. Select the correct option at checkout and we will allocate it properly.
Yes. You choose and pay online, our team in Pakistan arranges the sacrifice according to Islamic requirements, and the fresh meat is distributed to extremely needy families in the areas we serve. You do not need to be present or arrange anything locally.
As early as possible. Livestock and staple food prices climb steeply as the season approaches, and early donations let us purchase in advance at lower cost – which means more families served for the same amount.
Yes, for Ramadan rations, winter relief and heatwave support where the recipients are Zakat-eligible – which is the case across our distribution areas. Qurbani and Zabiha should be given separately as they are a distinct obligation.
Directly to families in the poorest areas we work in, chosen for need rather than convenience. For many of these households it is the only meat they will eat in the year.
