Most charities give you a first name and a country. We publish a full verified profile – age, siblings, district, housing situation and current school class – with a downloadable file you can read before you commit. You know exactly who you are helping.
This is the worry nobody else answers properly. Our team re-visits sponsored children at regular intervals to confirm the guardian is spending your support on the child’s schooling, nutrition and medical care. If it isn’t, we intervene.

Sponsorship is never a standalone payment. Sponsored children can access Eshaat schools, ration distribution for their household, clean-water projects, medical assistance, winter clothing drives, Ramadan food support and skills training for older siblings and widowed mothers. A trustworthy programme can show you documentation – age, guardian, household, school enrolment. If a charity cannot show you who the child is, you cannot know the sponsorship is real. Every Eshaat profile comes with a downloadable file.
Handing funds to a guardian is easy. Verifying they reached the child is the hard part. Ask directly: do you conduct follow-up visits, and what happens if funds are misused? We monitor sponsored children on a repeating cycle for exactly this reason.
If you are discharging Zakat, confirm the programme is Zakat-eligible and that funds are ring-fenced for eligible recipients. If your intention is Sadaqah Jariyah, prioritise education-linked sponsorship, because the benefit continues for a lifetime. Select your intention at checkout and we allocate accordingly.
Monthly ($50) is easier on cash flow and lets our team budget with certainty. Annual ($600) removes the risk of a failed card interrupting a child’s school term, and suits donors giving Zakat as a single yearly payment. Both are cancellable.
Children under eight need the longest runway and benefit most from continuous support. Children aged 13 and over are at the highest risk of dropping out to work, so sponsoring them often has the most immediate protective effect. If you cannot decide, choose “greatest need”.

No. Sponsorship is financial and educational support, not legal guardianship. The child stays with their surviving parent, family or guardian, which is almost always the best outcome for them. For child-safeguarding reasons we manage all communication through our team rather than sharing direct contact details, and we send you verified updates instead. Supervised visits may be possible for long-term sponsors – contact our office to discuss.
