Donate for Education in Pakistan: Put a Child Back in School

We run free schools in Orangi Town, New Karachi and six locations across Balochistan. Your donation pays for the teacher, the books and the desk – not a brochure.

In the communities we work in, school is not a given. Families choose between a child’s education and the family’s next meal, and the child ends up in a workshop instead of a classroom. Eshaat Foundation removes that choice. We build and run schools where there were none, we keep them free, and we make sure the children who need it most – orphans and the poorest households – get a place.

Your donation directly supports the children’s education, assists teachers, and helps cover the school’s daily operational expenses.

Iqbal And Abbasi Fatimah Memorial

Iqbal & Abbasi Fatimah Memorial School in New Karachi (a place where education is ignored due to poverty) is providing free and quality education to poor and deserving children. Your donation helps support students’ education, provides essential school resources, and contributes to creating a better future for these children.

Eshaat Foundation School building was founded by supporter's donation for education

Eshaat Foundation School provides free and quality education to underprivileged and orphan children in underserved areas. This school operates till matric grade and also has an evening coaching center to further assist deserving students in their studies. Your donation helps support students’ learning, provides essential school resources, and assists teachers.

Balochistan School

We operate 6 schools in Balochistan, providing education and learning opportunities to children in remote and underserved communities where access to schools is almost nonexistent, resulting in a high crime rate. Your support helps provide teachers, learning materials, and basic facilities so these children can continue their education and work toward a better future.

Why Your Education Donation Matters Here

We build schools where there are none

We do not top up existing state provision. In remote Balochistan and in Karachi’s poorest districts, our schools are often the only option a child has. That makes each donation the difference between literacy and no literacy.

Quality, not just attendance

Getting a child through the gate is not enough. We maintain standards through dedicated teachers, a structured curriculum and real academic oversight, so a child leaves able to read, write and compete.

Scholarships reserved for orphans

Orphaned and extremely vulnerable children receive scholarships at our schools, so losing a parent never means losing an education.

More than textbooks

Students take part in science projects, activity days and extracurricular learning that builds confidence and curiosity – the things that keep a child in school by choice.

Character and values

Alongside academics we teach character, respect and moral responsibility, because the aim is not just an educated child but a good adult who lifts the household behind them.

How to Choose the Right Education Donation

Decide between one-off and monthly

Schools run on fixed monthly costs – salaries, rent, utilities. Monthly giving is what keeps the doors open; one-off gifts are best matched to physical items like uniforms, books and classroom equipment.

Fund the teacher, not just the building

New buildings photograph well, but a school without a paid teacher is an empty room. If you want maximum impact per dollar, fund salaries and learning materials.

Pick your location if it matters to you

Karachi donations reach dense urban poverty in Orangi Town and New Karachi. Balochistan donations reach remote villages with no alternative school at all. Both are needed; tell us which you prefer.

Check whether your gift qualifies as Zakat or Sadaqah Jariyah

Supporting the education of children from Zakat-eligible households qualifies, and because education compounds across a lifetime, it is one of the strongest forms of Sadaqah Jariyah. Select your intention at checkout.

FAQs

How much of my donation reaches the school?

Donations to a named school are allocated to that school’s running costs – teaching, learning materials, resources and daily expenses. Our Karachi office administers the transfer and keeps the records, and we can share how funds were applied on request.

Can I give Zakat to education?

Yes, where the beneficiaries are Zakat-eligible – which describes the households at all of our schools. Select “Zakat” at checkout and we allocate accordingly. If you prefer, choose Sadaqah for unrestricted educational spending.

Can I choose which school my money goes to?

Yes. Pick Sawab Noor, Iqbal & Abbasi Fatimah Memorial, Eshaat Foundation School or our Balochistan schools at checkout, or choose “where most needed” and we will direct it to the biggest shortfall.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. Eshaat Foundation is a registered US 501(c)(3) non-profit, EIN 88-3577097, and your receipt is issued automatically.

Do orphans get priority?

Yes. Orphaned and extremely vulnerable children receive scholarships at our schools. If you want your gift ring-fenced for an orphan’s schooling, tell us and we will do it.

Can I visit or see the school?

We publish photographs and updates from our schools, and supporters who travel to Pakistan can arrange a visit through our Karachi office. Contact us in advance so we can host you properly.

More Ways to Help a Child Learn

  • Sponsor an orphan – full support including their school place
  • Ration distribution – a fed child learns; an empty stomach does not
  • Clean water projects – fewer waterborne illnesses means fewer missed school days
  • Skill development – stitching and computer courses for older siblings and mothers
  • Give your Zakat or Sadaqah – allocated where the need is greatest

Educate One Child. Change Three Generations.

A classroom seat costs less than you think, and it is the only thing that permanently changes a family’s trajectory. Everything else we do treats the symptom. Education removes the cause.

Choose your school, give once or monthly, cancel any time, and receive a US tax-deductible receipt the moment you donate.
